These are some of my favorite places for portrait sessions. All of the locations on this list are tried and true locations that offer a backdrop for session success.
Manistee Ranch Park is my newest gem of a location. I have yet to cover the entire historic park to capture it's full glory. The location features citrus orchards, white picket fencing, historic farming equipment, a tin roof red barn, old white brick buildings, vines, trellises, and country charm.

Papago Park Lake offers beautiful red mountain backdrops, glistening lake view, and tall straw grass. The area also provides a desert backdrop.

South Mountain/Scorpion Gulch offers lovely deserts cape and piece of Arizona history. Historic rock building structures offer rich color and texture. This location is a new spot. I know it will offer dreamy portraits and am eager to book a family at this wonderful desert gem! ***NEW SPOT, BE THE FIRST
Pinnacle Peak General Store Courtyard is classic spanish courtyard with fountains, black iron gates/benches, spanish tile, old wooden wagons/benches, church bell tower, and a small desert scape.

The Pistachio Grove is rich in earthy tones and textures and truly glows.
Address and Parking: I meet clients in the parking lot (The Grove Church) next to the sprawl of pecan trees. The exact address is: 2777 S. Gilbert Rd., Chandler, AZ 85286
The Cotton Field is a dreamy photography location. It always produces stunning imagery. Glowing white in color and rich in contrast in B&W. The cotton field is only photographable for a short pocket of time in late October when the cotton blossoms before it is harvested.
Address and Parking: I use a variety of open cotton fields in the west valley that vary each year. I know the address of each field and email it out at the beginning of October to my cotton field bookings.
North Mountain is a sprawl of desert area that has a forrest of cholla. The sunsets are golden in this little pocket.

Downtown Phoenix offers a wide variety of textures, colors, murals, and a contemporary/urban atmosphere. Mural are subject to change as art evolves downtown.
Address and Parking: I meet clients at a variety of places in downtown Phoenix, depending upon the areas they are most interested in using at their session.
Papago Park Trails provides a southwest backdrop with the iconic red mountains in the distance. The sunsets in this area are often colorful and vibrant due to the red dust in the air
Address and Parking: I use a less populated trail, The Eliot Ramada Trail, to avoid the tourist crowd and get a wide shot of the mountains. It's labeled on google maps as the West Buttes Parking lot by the Phoenix Zoo. The parking lot features a ramada and is off of Moreland Street and N. Galvin Pkwy
Desert Botanical Gardens features a beautiful desert plant and floral variety. This location requires admission fee's to be paid by clients and should not be booked during peak exhibit times to avoid massive crowds.

Desert Camp Community Center offers a lush desert landscape and trails with mountains in the distance. The location also features a old green tractor and wood wagon as well as grass lawn.

Market Street at D.C. Ranch in Scottsdale offers a blend of clean modern urban buildings with rustic influence. The location is scattered with desert landscaping and influences.

Heritage Square in Downtown Phoenix offers towering smooth concrete walls with modern architecture, vibrant yellow farm doors, red bricking, a small rose garden, and bench seating.

Northsight Park This residential area park offers a desert space with seasonal yellow blooming trees.

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park This park offers a backdrop of trains, and railroad tracks, a vintage carousel, red brick, trains, grass, leaves, benches, trees, and a playground
